Tables

Each table has a photo on it and hanging on the wall children can see the same photo, read the word in English and a green or red face depending on their good or wrong actions when having lunch.

Photos on the table are all about food (vegetables, fruits...)

Menu

Every day before starting eating we review food vocabulary with "today's menu". Children can also see the photos and the words in English.

Lunch song

We sing a song before starting eating, lyrics are on the wall so all the children can see them. We also have the score (English and music teachers are with the students at the dining room)

Rules

There are 3 basic rules to have a good atmosphere when eating:

1. SPEAK LOWER

2. SIT GENTLY

3. USE THE FORK (spoon, knife...)


We ilustrate the rules with photos of our students and put a green or red face with good or wrong actions.

Let's have lunch in English

Everyday at 1pm students of p5 go to the dining room to have lunch, English is spoken there for 1 hour!!
